Renata Cosi, born in Cesena, Italy, 1983 and Cristina Cosi, born in Cesena, Italy, 1980 got graduated at the Federico Fellini Art Institute in Riccione, Italy. Followed different art education paths: Renata as a Ceramic Designers (Fondazione Zavatta, Rimini, Italy, 2005) and Cristina as an Illustrator (Scuola del libro, Urbino, Italy, 2002). They combine their knowledge in ceramic and drawing techniques. The dialogue and a shared ethical and aesthetic point of view lead Renata and Cristina to a common visual language that distinguishes their path in contemporary art. They realize sculptures using ceramic and clays, combined with resin, metal, wood and yarns. Their poetic research focuses on the essential relationship that exists between the individual and the society. Beside contemporary art they also collaborate with architectural firms and interior designers, creating site-specific installations. They developed prototypes and ceramic fashion accessories with important brands. They created their own line of bijoux – distinguished by a sculptural design - that was selected for a contemporary jewelry exhibition curated by Vogue Italia - Alta Roma and Politecnico of Milan. They live and work in Savignano Sul Rubicone, Italy.
